Combining this practical grounding with an Animal Science degree and experience working in the animal genomics team at Bioeconomy Science Institute, Anna brings a well-rounded understanding of how genetic selection influences livestock performance.
She has a clear focus on how improved genetic outcomes translate into greater efficiency, sustainability and profitability for farmers. Anna is particularly motivated by seeing genetic selection deliver tangible results in a commercial context, contributing to measurable improvements in livestock performance across New Zealand’s farming sector.
